Community Groups

Community Groups are at the heart of the ministry of TBC. The purpose of these groups is to promote a deeper love for God, for one another (Matthew 22:36-40), and for the lost (Matthew 28:19-20) through the context of life-changing relationships.

TBC Community Groups help folks grow in Christlikeness through the study of God’s Word as well as times of corporate prayer, encouragement, and accountability. Community Groups provide the perfect setting to discover who God has made us to be and how we can practically live out our faith.

There are a variety of ways to pursue “community” here at TBC. Whether you're looking for a couple's group, singles group, men's group, women's group, or a blend of each, we have something to offer. Groups meet most days of the week, mornings or evenings.

We strongly encourage you to join a Community Group - you'll be glad that you did. Let us help you get connected to others in the body of Christ at TBC!

To find out more or to join a TBC Community Group, please fill out our Community Group Interest Form, or call Hunter Ruch at the church office (234-5545). You can also e-mail Hunter at hruch@topekabiblechurch.org.

Resources: Biblical Study Guides

The word of God is essential to all that we do. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 states that "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."

Because a thoroughly biblical foundation is essential for growth to happen in any Community Group, we make the following Biblical Study Guides available for you, free of charge. Our prayer is that these Study Guides will help you and your Group "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3:18):

Old Testament
Joel (6-session study)
Amos (9-session study)
Zephaniah (3-session study)

New Testament
Philippians (6-session study)
Colossians (6-session study)
James (6-session study)
The Life of Paul
(A 32-session study based off of the "Life of Paul" (in Acts) sermon series by Dr. Jim Congdon)
