Youth

    Welcome to Student Ministries at Topeka Bible Church.  We know that there are many pulls for your student's time and attention.  We here at TBC want the youth activities to be more than just another thing they add to their schedules. We try to strike a balance with all of our activities and studies.  Some of our activities are small things, gatherings to watch a ball game or go shopping, the goal being simply fellowship.  Other activities are larger ones that take us out of town like our trip to a five star dude ranch in Colorado, our the annual ski trip or missions trip. 

    We also plan our Bible instruction around the same model.  On Wednesday nights we meet for a lighter and more informal Bible study and discussion groups. While on Sunday mornings we tackle harder and more relevant topics that kids are facing in their world, issues such as evolution, abortion and whether or not the Bible is true.

    We need participation from our parents in the way of hosting events in their homes, whether this be Bible Studies or just a "hang out" night.  And we can't live without the prayer and support of all our parents. Parent's input is valuable. 

    The teenage years are challenging years for sure!  It is a time where kids make life changing decisions about how they'll live the rest of their lives.  The volunteer leaders commit to being involved in these kids lives by spending time with them, praying for them and loving on them.  They consider it an honor to walk along side your student as they set out on their adventure with Christ.
